This is a song that I wrote while reminiscing my past love relationship that really broke my heart. It has already been 2 years since I broke up with her but I guess the wound is still there and going through a slow healing process. At that time – when I was also young, less-experienced as a man, and immature – I was almost in a slave-like state; consenting to whatever she demanded without really listening to what my heart says. Even if I wanted to break up with her I couldn’t because I was afraid about a life without her. The girl was sort of like a remedy to my irresponsible and unhealthy life; a drug that numbs me down and keeps me away from the reality that I had to face. I bet she was also in a similar position on her side, since we both knew that this is not right. But still we tried to stick to each other like two corpses hugging each other and let the time rot both of us. Ultimately, the relationship came to an end after hearing so many dreadful and cursing words from her. After the break-up I grieved, cried, lost, and raised Cain in both in and out my life. That led me into a long dark tunnel that tipped me over several times to give up… But every time, I was able to stand up again – perhaps I was cowardly enough to commit the irrevocable (thankfully) and now I am slowly stepping up again and living a life as a man standing for the Peace and Love.
This was the little background story of the song Selfish Girl which will be available worldwide on November 14th, 2019. The song has a strong bass but also a very feminine and subtle melodic line creating a great harmony.

He claims himself to be made in hell, and believes that this life is a chance to go towards the heaven, the eternity.
dp888’s musical style jumps from one genre to another but mainly covers Hip Hop and R&B.
He grew up in various environments around the world, including Seoul (the capital city of South Korea), Jeju Island (South Korea), Saipan, Los Angeles, and New York. He also has close relatives living in countries such as Austria, Switzerland, France, and China, which exposes him to be infused with various (sometimes clashing) cultural and ideological backgrounds since an early age.
dp888 is a member of the crew named Kinderparkers with two other artists: WooJin and Sixway.
He plans to be unstoppable but self-accountable in his musical career.
